Day 1:
Depart for South Africa on an overnight flight to arrive the next morning. If this is not convenient or you can get a better deal, if you book an earlier flight, then please let us know and we will plan accordingly.
Day 2:
Your guide for the day will meet you upon your morning arrival in Johannesburg at O R Tambo International Airport. From here we depart for a short township tour of Soweto for a glimpse of neighbourhood life and to reflect on the apartheid history of South Africa. This vibrant city is home to a host of interesting attractions, such as the Twin Towers and Freedom Square, as well as Vilakazi Street which is the only street in the world where two Nobel Peace Prize recipients resided namely Archbishop Desmond Tutu and the great Nelson Mandela. Included in this tour is a visit to the Nelson Mandela “Matchbox” House Museum and then the Apartheid Museum. You might like to get a bite to eat at the Truth Café found at the museum complex. Afternoon check-in at our charming little lodge found on the East Rand. Dinner can be enjoyed at the lodge. Overnight in Johannesburg.

Day 3 & 4:
After breakfast, your driver / guide will meet you at your lodge in Kempton Park. He / She will then transfer you to Mabula Game Lodge found in the heart of the scenic and malaria free Waterberg Mountains in South Africa’s beautiful Limpopo Province, which is known as “The Land of Legends” and was named after the great grey green greasy Limpopo River. Mabula is only a 2 ½ hours drive from Johannesburg’s O R Tambo International Airport. The diverse landscape of this reserve ranges from grassland plains to rocky outcrops, creating an ideal environment for the “Big 5” animals, as well as a host of other wildlife and wonderful little creatures.
