A representative from Jock Safari Lodge will be at the Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport to welcome you and escort you to their lodge. Jock Safari Lodge owns an exclusive private concession, which is perfectly positioned in the wildlife enriched southern section of the world renowned Kruger National Park. This pristine wildlife destination found at the confluence of the Mitomeni and Biyamiti Rivers allows for a magnificent safari experience, as the landscape has been left unspoilt for over a century. This authentic lodge with its timeless style, elegance and additional modern comforts was named after a legendary dog called Jock, “Jock of the Bushveld”. His master, Sir Percy FitzPatrick later wrote a book about the interesting events that took place with this courageous and loyal dog whilst he worked as a young transport rider, when the first gold rush took place in the Eastern Transvaal in the 1880’s.
