Day 1:

Depart for South Africa on an overnight flight to arrive the next morning. If this is not convenient or you can get a better deal, if you book an earlier flight, then please let us know and we will plan accordingly.

Day 2:

Our representative will meet you upon your morning arrival at Johannesburg’s O R Tambo International Airport. He / She will assist with your transfer to the domestic terminal and your check-in for you to catch your flight to Durban’s King Shaka International Airport. Your guide will be at the airport to meet you and transfer you down the south coast of KwaZulu Natal to the Wild Coast Sun Resort. Enjoy a welcome dinner this evening with fellow travellers and your local accredited guide who will also be the tour manager.

Day 3:

A morning to relax and enjoy what is on offer at this coastal resort with its sparkling swimming pools, beautiful golden sand beaches and water sport activities. With a little luck you might even spot dolphins and whales that grace these shores throughout the year. Afternoon tee-off at the Wild Coast Sun Country Club, which was the home of the South African Nissan Skins tournament and it still forms part of the South African PGA circuit. This is a challenging championship golf course with magnificently curated fairways and greens that stretch along the expansive Wild Coast. The course also boasts with some splendid ocean views. Evening at leisure. Your meals over the next couple of days can be enjoyed at any one of several restaurants and bars found at the resort. On offer are a variety of flavours and cuisines, where you could grab a quick bite to eat or indulge in a meal at a sit down restaurant with views of the Indian Ocean in the backdrop. Overnight along the Wild Coast.

Day 4:

Morning tee-off at San Lameer Country Club, another one of many coastal courses found along this south coast region of KwaZulu Natal. This area with its sub-tropical vegetation and beautiful beaches washed by the warm Indian Ocean is known amongst local golfers as the “Golf Coast”. San Lameer is an 18 hole professional golf course that has hosted the South African Open Championship on a number of occasions. After golfing we return to the Wild Coast Sun. Afternoon and evening at leisure.

Day 5:

After breakfast and a leisurely morning, we travel up the coast to Selborne Golf Estate, Hotel & SPA. Check-in at the hotel before your afternoon tee-off at Selborne Golf Club. A famous South African professional golfer and now commentator, Dale Hayes mentioned that this is an incredibly special place that can be described as the "Augusta" of South Africa. After golfing one can relax at the hotel or enjoy the SPA to rejuvenate and energize your body & mind, as well as sooth those tired muscles after a couple of challenging rounds of golf. The hotel is an intimate boutique place combining old world charm decorated in an elegant colonial style with cosy comfortable rooms. Dinner will be served at the hotels’ restaurant. Overnight at Selbourne.

Day 6:

We continue up the coast via the city of Durban to the modern seaside town of Umhlanga. Afternoon and evening at leisure. Your meals over the next couple of days can be enjoyed at your hotel or anyone of several excellent restaurants found near your hotel in town. Overnight in Umhlanga.

Day 7:

Breakfast, before we transfer you to the town of Stanger for your morning tee-off at Prince’s Grant Golf Club. This must play golf course is ranked amongst the best in South Africa. The course was brilliantly designed between four coastal ridgelines overlooking the Indian Ocean. The stunning coastal scenery and lush forests allied with the magnificent condition of the groomed greens and sweeping fairways makes Prince’s Grant a bucket list course for many golfers. After golfing your guide will take you on a short historical tour to the site and now museum in the town of Stanger (KwaDukuza) where the infamous Shaka, King of the Zulu's, was assassinated and buried. Overnight in Umhlanga.

Day 8:

A morning at leisure. There is no better place in South Africa, than in Umhlanga to spend a morning relaxing on beautiful golden sand beaches or to take a dip in the warm Indian Ocean. Afternoon tee-off at Zimbali Country Club, which is another one of those challenging picturesque coastal courses that makes this region live up to its reputation. The course offers exceptional ocean and forest views, as well as water and wetland features in an alluring natural setting, Overnight at Umhlanga.

Day 9:

We have kept "The best for last" with your morning tee-off at Durban Country Club. The course, overlooking the Blue Lagoon estuary and the Indian Ocean, has hosted the South African Open 17 times, including the centenary SA Open in 2010. This is more than any other club in South Africa. It has also been rated South Africa’s No 1 golf course for many years and the "par 5" third hole is rated the best third in the world. Durban Country Club is a challenging shot makers golf course, and you will also need to think your way around this one. Due to the narrowness of the opening holes, most local golfers don’t make use of their driver until well into their round. After golf, you have the afternoon at leisure where you could take a stroll around town or spend some more time relaxing at the hotels’ pool or at the beach. Overnight at Umhlanga.

Day 10:

After breakfast and a leisurely morning, we will transfer you back to King Shaka International Airport for you to catch your flight to Johannesburg and then home.
