Day 1:

We will meet you upon your arrival in Johannesburg at O R Tambo International Airport and then transfer you to our charming little lodge near the airport. Afternoon at leisure and dinner can be enjoyed as a traditional “braai” – barbeque at the lodge’s restaurant or we can take you out to a local restaurant in town. Overnight in Kempton Park, Johannesburg.

Day 2:

Transfer to O R Tambo International Airport in Johannesburg in order for you to catch your 2 hour flight at about 10h40 to Livingstone in Zambia or Victoria Falls – Zimbabwe. Our agent will be at the airport to meet you and to transfer you to Kasane in Botswana, via the “only place in the world where 4 countries meet” at the confluence of the Chobe & Zambezi Rivers. You then have the rest of the afternoon and evening at leisure, giving you time to relax and enjoy the beauty of this area. Overnight at Kasane – Botswana.

Day 3:

An exciting day lies ahead with an early morning open vehicle safari into “Big 4” country – Chobe National Park, and then you have the rest of the day to relax at the lodge with its beautiful setting along the Chobe River, ending off your day with a sunset cruise down the river. This area is well known for its large herds of elephant and Cape buffalo. Overnight at Kasane – Botswana.

Optional activities:

  • Tiger fishing on the Chobe River.
  • Visit a cultural village across the river in Namibia.

Day 4, 5 & 6:

We will transfer you to Kasane airport to catch a chartered flight to your lodge in the Okavango Delta. Enjoy the next couple of days in this unique and beautiful stretch of Africa, with early morning and sunset safaris. You will also have the opportunity to go on walks and a ride on the “mokoro’s” – canoes with the camps ranger. Overnight in the Okavango Delta – Botswana.

Day 7:

Fly back to Kasane, where you will be transferred via the border at Kazungula to Zimbabwe or via Zimbabwe to Zambia. On route, you will get to visit one of the natural wonders of the world (included) – Victoria Falls. Although Dr David Livingstone first viewed the Victoria Falls on the 16 November 1855 from Livingstone Island in Zambia, the best view of the Victoria Falls is with out a doubt from the Zimbabwe side. This afternoon you get to explore the mighty Zambezi River on an included sunset cruise on the African Queen. Overnight on the bank’s of the mighty Zambezi River – Zambia / Zimbabwe.

Day 8:

After a leisurely morning, we will transfer you to the airport near Victoria Falls in order for you to catch your connecting flight back to Johannesburg and then your flight home.

Catch your connecting flight via Johannesburg to Cape Town where your guide will meet you on arrival. He / she will transfer you to your hotel. Dinner can be enjoyed at one of the numerous excellent restaurants on the Victoria & Alfred Waterfront. Overnight in Cape Town on the V & A Waterfront

Day 9:

Take a scenic drive around the “Cape Peninsula”. Visit Hout Bay and the Cape Fur Seal colony on Duiker Island, Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve, Cape of Good Hope, Cape Point and the Boulders – Penguins. Optional and weather permitting – we take the cableway up Table Mountain. Evening at leisure. Overnight in Cape Town on the V & A Waterfront.

Day 10:

A day at leisure, where you can do the following optional activities – a city orientation tour of South Africa’s beautiful Mother City on the “hop-on hop-off bus” or visit a local township or visit Robben Island where Nelson Mandela was imprisoned for 17 years or visit to Kirstenbosch National Botanical Gardens or visit one of the numerous beautiful beaches around the Cape or for the energetic – take a hike up Table Mountain or for the brave – shark cage diving. Evening at leisure. Overnight in Cape Town on the V & A Waterfront.

Day 11:

Wine tastings and a cellar tour at various wine estates along the Cape’s world-renowned Stellenbosch Wine Route, also spend some time in the picturesque towns of Stellenbosch and Franschhoek. Enjoy dinner at one of the excellent restaurants in town. Overnight in Cape Town on the V & A Waterfront

Day 12:

Morning at leisure. Lunch at the V & A Waterfront, time for last minute shopping and weather permitting an optional helicopter flight over the “Cape Peninsula”. Transfer to Cape Town International Airport in order for you to catch your flight home. .
