Your guide will meet you upon arrival in Johannesburg at O R Tambo International Airport or he / she will pick you up at your accommodation establishment in Johannesburg or Pretoria. Depart to Pretoria for a city tour that includes the Voortrekker Monument, Church Square and Union Buildings. Overnight near Modimolle.

Travel to Tzaneen via Pietersburg (Polokwane), visit Bakone Malapa a Northern Sotho living museum, Debengeni Waterfalls and Sapeco Tea Estate, before having lunch on the estate at the Pekoe View Tea Garden. This afternoon we visit the Modjadji Cycad Forest Reserve – home of Modjadji the “Rain Queen” and the “Big Tree”, which is the largest Baobab in the world at ± 4500 years old. Overnight near Tzaneen.

Depart for the world-renowned Kruger National Park (KNP). Enter the park through Phalaborwa Gate.
Enjoy a full day travelling north through the KNP in search of the “Big 5” and a host of other animals. The KNP is known to be the most diverse park in the world with 140 mammals, 119 reptiles, ± 506 bird, 55 amphibians and ± 1980 plant species. Overnight in the KNP.

Explore the far northern reaches of the KNP, enjoy a guided tour on foot with the parks ranger to the Thulamela Ruins, former seat of wicked King Ingwe and the beautiful Queen Losha. Also visit Crook’s Corner on the border between South Africa, Zimbabwe and Mozambique. Overnight in the park.

- Enjoy a sunset or evening open vehicle safari with a park ranger.
We depart after breakfast and a leisurely morning from the KNP via Pafuri Gate. Stop in Mussina for supplies and lunch, before traveling to Mapungubwe National Park on the border between South Africa, Zimbabwe and Botswana. Dinner will be a traditional “braai” – barbeque prepared by your guide. Overnight in South Africa’s newest National Park.

Early morning game drive, before breakfast and a guided tour on foot to one of South Africa’s UNESCO world heritage sites, namely Mapungubwe – “Hill of the Jackal” an archaeological site. Depart after lunch for Tshipise hot springs, an afternoon and evening at leisure at this popular resort.

Spend the morning relaxing and enjoying the Tshipise hot springs, before we head back to Johannesburg the commercial hub of South Africa. Visit on route Gemco Studio – arts & crafts centre for last minute shopping. Drop-off at your accommodation establishment or at O R Tambo International Airport.
