Day 1:

Board your connecting flight from Johannesburg or Cape Town or drive from Cape Town to George in the heart of the “Garden Route”. Collect your hired vehicle upon arrival at the airport and drive to Knysna, which has been voted a number of times as “The best little town in South Africa”. Time permitting, this afternoon you could take the ferry across the lagoon to the Featherbed Nature Reserve for a 4 x 4 trailer-ride tour and if you like, a hike through the reserve. Overnight in Knysna on the waterfront.

Day 2:

After breakfast, you have a morning tee-off booked at Pezula Championship Golf Course located in the picturesque town of Knysna, the jewel of the world famous “Garden Route”. This stunningly beautiful golf course is a sweeping spectacle of fairways and greens rolling through the pristine Southern Cape landscape. After golf, you have the rest of the day at leisure or you could nip up the coast for a visit and short hike to the Storms river mouth suspension bridge in the Tsitsikamma National Park. Return to Knysna. Dinner can be enjoyed at one of the numerous excellent restaurants within walking from your hotel situated on the Knysna Waterfront. Overnight in Knysna.

Day 3:

Depart after breakfast and drive down the scenic “Garden Route” coast to the historical seaside town of Mossel Bay and be sure to visit the Old Harbour, Diaz Maritime Museum and the unusual “Old Post Office Tree”. You could even have an early lunch at one of the numerous restaurants in town, before  your afternoon tee-off at Pinnacle Point Golf Course which is something truly unique for the discerning golfer. This 18 hole championship golf course was designed by well-known South African golf course architect Peter Matkovich who opened the course together with top Irish Tour Golf Professional Darren Clarke in November 2006. Darren Clarke, who was also involved with many aspects of the Pinnacle Point course design, has said that Pinnacle Point is “… the best golf course on the planet” and this golf course was selected as one of the top 10 new golf courses of the world by the American publication “Travel & Leisure”. This cliff top golf course inspires the golfer to play this challenging layout with a level of respect due to its dramatic views and breathtaking terrain. The 72 par layout is characterized by 7 majestic holes that line the Indian Ocean rock cliffs, four of which are played over ocean and cliff. After your round of golf, you drive back down the road to Fancourt Golf Estate and check-in at the hotel situated on the estate. Your hotel has a fine blend of modern luxury and classic elegance which offers accommodation that caters to every taste. The luxurious bedrooms are all fully equipped with everything you need to make your stay as comfortable and unforgettable as possible. Spend the evening at leisure. Day 4: 

After a scrumptious breakfast, you have a morning tee-off booked at Fancourt Links Golf Course. The Links, which Gary Player has often referred to as his greatest design feat is presently ranked No. 1 in South Africa by Golf Digest South Africa and No. 34 in the world by the USA Golf Digest. After golf, you have an afternoon at leisure where one can enjoy the SPA to rejuvenate and energize body & mind, as well as sooth tired muscle after a couple of challenging round of golf or just relax around the swimming pool with a long cool drink. The luxurious Fancourt SPA offers complete relaxation in the most tranquil setting. All the facilities you could want are available, including a steam room, sauna and jacuzzi. One can unwind with a hot stone massage or enjoy a swim in the heated Roman Bath. Overnight in George on the “Garden Route”.

Day 5:

Drive to George Airport, after breakfast and a leisurely morning. Drop-off your hired vehicle at the airport, before boarding your onward flight or catching your flight to Johannesburg or Cape Town in order to catch your flight home.
